Project X CODE
is a highly motivated series of 3D adventure books, based on structured
progression of Phonics, Vocabulary, and Comprehension skills.
It embeds systematic synthetic phonics into a reading intervention programme targeted at struggling readers in Years 2 to 4.
Project X CODE was designed by Edge Hill University, part of the team that developed the highly praised training for the Every Child Counts programme.
Before atteding this course schools will be required to purchase the 'Project X CODE' books from Oxford University Press.

A trained teaching assistant teaches a small group of children for half an hour four times a week. The intervention can also be delivered by a teacher.
