Learning Journeys

Accessible practice: learn from the best
School-to-School Learning Journeys are aimed at school leaders, teachers and those involved in working with children and young people.
The aim is to bring together small focused groups of like-minded professionals, all eager to learn more about a particular theme and to share leading practice across a range of topics.
Schools that have been selected to become hosts have all been recognised by Ofsted for outstanding practice in the area of work they are sharing.
These half-day visits enable colleagues to engage in a sharing of knowledge, ideas and expertise; visitors are encouraged to network and take an active role whilst attending a visit.
Host schools are encouraged to give visitors a full and honest description of what they have achieved, what steps they have taken and a clear idea of what needs to continue for them to maintain it.
Each visit will take place between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm and there is a charge of £50 +VAT per person to attend, to help offset the host school’s costs.
This will be charged to your school by the School Improvement Team.
