We can offer support and advice to Governors in the selection process to ensure high quality appointments of member(s) of a school’s Senior Leadership Team including Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers and Assistant Headteachers.

Effective senior managers and leadership teams with the Headteacher operating as a pivot, achieve the right balance between pressure and support and between high expectations and realism. 

High quality leaders at all levels also help pupils achieve the highest standards.  Successful leaders continually look for ways of doing things better. 

The best leaders create the right atmosphere for success, they recognise and reward achievement and act incisively where performance is not good enough.

  • Provide support and advice to Governors
  • Help ensure the right candidate is appointed for your school
  • Providing advice at all stages of the appointment process including agreement regarding job description, person specification, advert, shortlisting and interview
  • Work alongside and/or liaise with the relevant Faith Authority regarding the appointment process
  • Providing suggested tasks, activities and questions for use during the interview stage of the appointment process
Consultancy and in school support: £500 +VAT per day.
