About the School
Harmonize Academy is one of the first Alternative Provision Free Schools to open in the country and is located in the heart of Liverpool. We opened in April 2013 for 13 – 16 year olds who struggle in mainstream education.
Our vision is to provide outstanding alternative education with individualised learning pathways that radically improve the achievement and life chances of our students. In March 2015 we received an 'outstanding' Ofsted report. Numbers on roll: 104 students.
Our learning offer includes a broad and balanced curriculum with a focus on the core academic subjects, English, Maths and Science, as well as a distinctive Urban Arts, Personal Development and Enterprise base. We believe this engages and develops confidence in our students and also prepares them for the world of work.
